Mr. Lorre has interpreted for me your letter of
June 4th.

Possibly you have been badly informed regarding
Mr. Lorre’s supposedly large salary – that is not
correct. His new option does not start until
December 1937 and at this time he is on lay-off.
Is not making any pictures – is not working and
is not in receipt of any salary whatsoever.

I trust that very shortly when Mr. Lorre again
starts to work we will be able to send you something.
